THE
SHOP DOCTOR CAME TO DENBIGH
Denbigh’s independent retailers and high street businesses were treated to an injection of expert retail marketing when the Shop Doctor came to town in February
(2010).
The programme of two surgeries was funded by Denbigh County Council and WAG (Welsh Assembly Government) with support from the Denbigh Town Business Group and held at Brookhouse Mill, Ruthin.
20 people from 15 businesses in the town attended on two evenings. An independent survey of delegates afterwards confirmed they had received practical help and ideas for their business during the surgeries and that they felt their time had been well spent.
More experienced retailers acknowledged and appreciated the refresher, but still found that they learned new things on the course.
